(PHOENIX, February X, 2002) – The Hollywood Knights, a celebrity basketball team, will tip-off a basketball double header when they play an exhibition match before the Harlem Globetrotters game on Sunday, Feb. 10 at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles. The game will begin at 2 p.m., just prior to the Globetrotters 3 p.m. tip-off. Veteran Hollywood Knight players will challenge the rookies when they face each other to find out who really are the best players on the squad.

The Hollywood Knights is comprised of today’s top television, motion picture and musical recording artists. Their roster for the veterans team will include: Anthony Montgomery, "Enterprise"; James Hyde, "Passions"; Jesse Metcalfe, "Passions"; Anthony Harrell, "Saved by the Bell: The New Class"; Sammy Lopez, from the group Youngstown; Wesley Jonathan, "City Guys" and Power 106’s Tha Goodfellas (Djai and Romeo).

The Hollywood Knight rookies team will include: Andrew Walker, "Maybe Its Me"; Teck, MTV; Riley Smith, "Not Another Teen Movie"; Ryan Merriman, "The Pretender"; Jared Padalecki, "Gilmore Girls"; Kiko Ellsworth, "Port Charles"; Ryan McPartlin, "Passions" and James Lafferty, "Once and Again."

Alfonso Ribeiro, from the hit TV shows "In the House" and "Fresh Prince of Bel Air," will begin the Globetrotters game by singing the National Anthem.
