 I
was a volunteer for the game that night. We had just
finished painting and posting up posters for the
finishing touches in the gym. We hung out by the gym
doors because the celebrities had just arrived. My friend
Arpana, Jennahway, and I were standing around in the hall
in anticipation. At that moment James Hyde and Jesse
Metcalfe come walking in. James approached us and
introduced himself. I couldn't believe that he was
standing right in front of me and shaking my hand. He's a
really nice guy and had a firm handshake. Not to mention
he has beautiful eyes and is very tall. I went to go back
into the gym to ask for anymore help and then came back
to the hallway. As I came back, everyone was there. Bruce
Michael Hall to my left, Andrew Walker to my right and
Josh Henderson heading my direction. I was so
overwhelmed, I kind of stood there not knowing what to do
or say. Then finally I asked Josh for a picture. He was
so sweet! The guys had to get ready for the game so we
went back into the gym. At the doorway I met Kiko
Ellsworth and he was handing out calendars. I couldn't
stop looking at his pretty green eyes. He seemed like a
very cheerful person because his smile was so
enthusiastic. We took our seats and the guys started
their warm-ups. Krystal was there watching and she was
nice enough to get a picture with me. She was so pretty
and I liked her nose ring, it looked cute on her. It was
finally time for the game and everyone was introduced.
Conner O' Brien then sang the National Anthem. The
Knights took their seats and waited for the Ayala faculty
to be announced. My friend and I called out Bruce's name
and we asked if we could take a picture of him. We didn't
expect it, but instead of taking a picture of him, he got
out of his seat and sat next to us on the bleachers so we
can get a picture together. We thought that was really
sweet of him. The game started and the knights had a lead
on us. We caught up and then the game was pretty close
for the last 2 quarters. During half time all the
volunteers had to line up between the gym doors and the
locker room so that the knights could get in and out
without being bombarded by screaming fans. On my way
there I bumped into a smiling Jesse on his way back to
the court. I got into the hallway and we lined up. A
bunch of the guys came out and we cheered them on by
holding our hands out as they went down the row giving
all of us high fives. I was still cheering when the
referee came out of the locker room and started jumping
up and down with me. He asked me what I was doing and
then he grabbed my hand and said, "Girl, come with
me." and that's when he lead me into the locker
room. I couldn't believe that he was bringing me there. I
walked in and saw James, Kiko and a few other guys
talking. I didn't get a picture with James earlier so I
decided that this was my chance. He was so sweet and very
friendly. Then the referee kicked me out and pretended
that he didn't know how I got in there. He was a very
funny guy. I went back and caught a glimpse of 3 Deep
singing their song "So Addicted". Power 106 was
giving away free stuff and a skateboard to the person who
could sing the Flintstones theme song. We took our seats
again for the 3rd quarter to start. I saw Jade Harlow
with her father. I wanted to get a picture with her so
when she was on her way out of the gym that's when I
talked to her. I think that Jade is the most sweetest
person you will ever meet! She was so kick back and
talked to me as if we were really good friends. She said
that we could come talk to her anytime. The game was over
and everyone kind of just bunched up on the court to get
pictures with their favorite celebrities. I followed my
friends toward the locker room and we saw Jesse, Dallas,
and Krystal asking where the after party was. So we
decided to escort them since we were on our way over
there. Jesse was a really cool guy. I talked with him
about his star tattoo because I liked stars too and he
was looking at my Kiko calendar. We came to the agreement
that Kiko kind of looked like Lenny Kravitz in some of
his pictures. After we got them to the room we went back
and ran into Josh. We took one last picture with Josh and
I saw Jade and Bruce leaving. I said bye to them and I
heard her tell Bruce that I was one the coolest girls
she's ever met. That was the last time we saw everyone.
We waited out in front of the gym for our ride home and
all of us could not believe what an incredible night we
had. That night I think everyone went home with a smile
on their face. I hope that our school has another event
like this because it's very fun and helpful to raise
money for our school. I am anticipating for another game
around the area. I think that was one of the most
exciting nights I've ever had and I can't wait to relive
