Soluna, Hollywood Records recording artist Lil' J and
others are among the artists set to perform at the
Hollywood Knights Celebrity Basketball Team Season Wrap
Party being held at The Key Club in West Hollywood on
June 21, 2003 at 7pm. This star-studded event is a
celebration of a twenty-five year tradition of excellence
in celebrity fundraising and community service.
Festivities for the evening include an awards ceremony
hosted by Knights C.E.O. Michael Mirisch, honoring
players and participants of the 2002 basketball season.
Accepting awards will be stars from TV, motion pictures
and music: Alfonso Ribeiro (Fresh Prince), Alisa Reyes
(Passions), Andrew Walker (Sabrina The Teenage Witch),
Arlen Escarpeta (American Dreams), Bryan Datillo (Days of
Our Lives), Dion Basco (City Guys), Chrystee Pharris
(Passions), Eric Winter (Days of Our Lives), Jeff Licon
(The Brothers Garcia), Josh Henderson (One on One), Kiko
Ellsworth (Port Charles), Mike Mizanin (The Real World),
Mischa Mandel (Movie Surfers), Sarah Ramos (American
Dreams), Wesley Jonathan (What I Like About You), Sammy
Lopez (Youngstown).
Also in attendance will be celebrity guests such as: Dale
Godboldo (Wanda At Large), Jason Cook (Days of Our
Lives), Josh Keaton (The Stevens Get Even), Keith
Robinson (American Dreams), Michael Bergin (Baywatch),
Paul Malbry (The Real Cancun), Ryan Starr (American
Idol).
Live performances by Soluna, At Last, The Nade, CJ,
Jillian, TJ Fantini, and Lil' J immediately follow the
awards ceremony.
Founded in 1978 by world-renowned celebrity publicist and
events promoter David Mirisch, The Hollywood Knights
Celebrity Basketball Team has raised over a $1.5 million
dollars in charitable funds for Southern California
schools and various other organizations. Former Knights
have included stars such as Denzel Washington, Will
Smith, Woody Harrelson, Arsenio Hall, Rob Estes, Casper
Van Dien, Jonathan Silverman, Corey Feldman, Tone Loc,
Brian Austin Green, Ian Ziering, Josie Bisset, Angelica
Bridges, Soleil Moon Frye, Coolio, and David Arquette
among others.
