 COOLIO.COM WEBSITE RELEASE PARTY On December 5, 2001 The Hollywood Knights joined Coolio and fans to celebrate the launch of his new website, COOLIO.COM. It was a fun evening hosted by The Hard Rock Cafe at Universal CityWalk. Coolio's new Web site, Coolio.com, offers exclusive gifts as prizes for playing games that incorporate a new interactive marketing technology. Included in the spectrum of prizes are autographed merchandise, concert tickets with backstage passes and a chance to have dinner with Coolio. "This new site is the greatest," said Coolio. It lets my fans win prizes by showing what they know about my music and my community involvements, including my U.S.O. tours to entertain American troops overseas." In addition to launching a new website, Coolio has been busy entertaining our U.S. troops stationed overseas performing free shows, signing autographs and mingling with the troops. Coolio will soon be embarking on the second leg of his U.S.O. tours and to commemmorate his upcoming journies, The Knights were invited to film a holidy greeting card that will be broadcast before each of his performances. Each celebrity took turns saying their holiday greetings. The participants were Bruce Michael Hall ("Passions"), Alex Solowitz ("Liquid Zu"), Dallas ("Youngstown"), Ali Navarro ("Nobody's Angel"), Tommy McCarthy ("No Authority"), Ron Lester ("Not Another Teen Movie"), Jade Harlow ("Passions"), Andrew Walker ("Maybe It's Me), Kyle Lowder ("Days of Our Lives), Arianne Zuker ("Days of Our Lives"), Teal Redmond ("Gilmore Girls"), and Knights staff members Michael, Drina, Vicky, Mirko, and Clint. Coolio ended the evening by performing new songs from his upcoming new LP scheduled to be released in February 2002. It was a great evening filled with music, media, and heart-felt tributes to our brave United States servicemen and women. |
